Giusi Riotto
(She/Her/Hers)
Giusi is a Psychologist (Provisional) with international clinical experience and a strong commitment to supporting individuals across the lifespan in their journey toward growth and well-being. Originally from Italy, she moved to Canada in 2020 and brings with her a solid clinical background developed as a psychologist in Italy since 2017, where she worked with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of therapeutic settings.
In Canada, Giusi has worked both in a centre for children on the autism spectrum and in a treatment centre for women with substance use. These experiences have strengthened her ability to work with complex emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges. Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions, with the goal of helping clients develop greater self-awareness, psychological flexibility, and a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Ongoing professional development is a core value for Giusi. She strongly believes that there is no final destination when working with people’s lives, but rather a continuous process of learning, reflection, and personal growth. In her clinical work, she frequently uses Steven Hayes’ mountain metaphor. Like her clients, Giusi is also engaged in her own personal journey. From her perspective, she supports individuals in identifying alternative paths, recognizing obstacles along the way, and moving forward with greater clarity and intention.
Giusi strives to create a therapeutic space that is safe, warm, and non-judgmental, where clients feel supported in exploring both challenges and strengths. Her work is collaborative and relational, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and the co-creation of clear, meaningful therapeutic goals.
Outside of her professional role, Giusi is a dynamic and curious individual. She practices Nichiren Daishonin Buddhism, which informs her outlook on life and personal responsibility. She shares her life with two wonderful Goldendoodles, who bring daily joy, and with her husband, with whom she shares several passions, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She also enjoys cooking—especially Italian cuisine—and travelling, maintaining strong connections with her family in Italy, whom she visits regularly.
Giusi offers therapy with professionalism, warmth, and dedication, supporting clients as they build effective coping strategies to navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, and relational difficulties, and as they work toward lasting personal change.

Lindsay Zoeteman
Lindsay believes that every individual possesses an innate capacity for growth and healing; her role is to provide the safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space required to tap into it. She works collaboratively alongside adults to help them explore their inner worlds, gain deep insight into their behaviors, and make meaningful changes that align with their core values and who they want to be.
She is deeply passionate about helping clients understand their “why” and live fulfilling, self-directed lives. Lindsay is transparent, genuine, gentle, yet direct. She holds a secure space for the entire spectrum of human emotions, but if she notices a pattern or becomes curious about a connection, she will voice it. She believes that while therapy addresses deep struggles, it is a human-to-human relationship where you can feel entirely safe to be yourself.
With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, Lindsay has supported a highly diverse clientele. She holds a Master of Counselling Psychology from the University of Lethbridge and dynamically draws on proven, evidence-based modalities to foster change, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). She also brings specialized Gottman Level 2 training to her clinical work with couples.
Initially, she worked within non-profit organizations supporting youth in government care, helping them develop essential life skills. Her passion for deep clinical work then led her into public health care at an Edmonton treatment centre. For five years, she worked as an addictions counsellor with men struggling with substance abuse, facilitating group and individual therapy along with psychoeducational workshops. Following this, she worked collaboratively with psychiatrists to conduct complex mental health assessments and provide targeted treatment and counselling. Lindsay has now brought this clinical history into private practice working with adults and couples.
Lindsay views complex concerns not as personal flaws, but as powerful ways the body and brain have learned to cope in order to survive. Because of this compassionate lens, her primary goal for your first session is simply for you to feel heard, understood, and safe. By your final session, she aims to help you feel deeply connected to yourself and others, equipped with confidence in your journey ahead.
Because a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful outcomes, Lindsay offers a free 20 minute consultation over the phone or video. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions and ensure she is the right clinical fit for you. She provides individual and couples counselling to adults.
